The role is pivotal in shaping and embedding scalable governance frameworks, risk management strategies, and control systems that align with evolving global regulatory landscapes and drive data trust across stakeholder groups. This is a leadership position with global impact, requiring advanced understanding of harnessing data-driven insights to inform business strategy, the impact of emerging technologies such as AI, and high-risk activity oversight.
- Oversee the delivery of the global privacy compliance program, ensuring robust governance, defensibility, and continuous improvement.
- Design and embed integrated GRC frameworks aligned with global regulations.
- Project manage the implementation of new in-scope privacy, cyber, and data laws across jurisdictions.
- Drive digital enablement and automation of compliance controls, including AI-powered reporting and monitoring tools.
- Leverage data insights to inform regulatory strategy and business decisions. Strategically understanding regulatory risk across regional and business groups and make recommendations on remediation strategies.
- Oversee development and delivery of training and enablement programs to build regulatory capability across the business.
- Support, as necessary, regulatory reporting, audit readiness, and incident response governance.
- Collaborate closely with, and deputies for, the Global Head of Privacy, Data and Cyber Regulatory to deliver department goals and objectives and drive the company’s strategy in ensuring aligned and proactive compliance strategies. Provide senior-level input into the direction and priorities of the department.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven leadership experience in privacy, cyber, or data governance within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Deep expertise in global data regulations.
- Strong background in governance, risk, and controls, with a track record of building and operationalizing GRC programs.
- Demonstrated success in project managing global regulatory implementation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience with digital compliance tooling and AI-driven automation.
- Strong understanding of how AI technologies interact with privacy, data, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.

Team Structure & Collaboration:
- Reports directly to the Global Head of Privacy, Data and Cyber Regulatory Office.
- Will have dotted line responsibility for Privacy Governance team and direct management responsibility for four reports .
- Will be supported by Privacy, Data and Cyber Legal and Regulatory team who provide global legal advice and expertise.
- Works closely with regional privacy officers, legal counsel, cybersecurity leaders, and data governance teams.
