👨🍳 Now Hiring an Executive Chef – Resort Experience, Leadership & Culinary Excellence! 👨🍳
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at an upscale retirement community. The ideal candidate will possess extensive resort and large-scale hospitality culinary experience, with a proven track record in managing diverse culinary operations, including buffet, banquets, and fine dining.
Key Qualifications Include:
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple direct reports and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated ability to oversee all aspects of culinary operations, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency
- Proven administrative skills, including budget management, inventory control, and staff development
- Extensive experience in a resort or large-scale hospitality setting, handling a variety of dining concepts from casual to upscale

💰 Salary: $102,000–$112,200/year
📅 Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday Tues-Thurs 9:30am-6:00pm, Friday/Satruday 6:00am-2:30pm - ON CALL Fridays and Saturdays with flexibility required including weekends & holidays
✨ What You’Ll Do:
- Oversee all food preparation, cooking, and baking across multiple dining venues
- Create and execute diverse menus—from fine dining to café-style meals
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff with a focus on teamwork and excellence
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, budgets, and vendor relations
- Collaborate with the Director of Dining Services on menu planning and innovation
- Maintain a spotless kitchen and promote a culture of hospitality and professionalism
🎓 What You’Ll Need:
- Culinary degree preferred
- ServSafe® Certified. If not already ServSafe® certified, it is expected that the Executive Chef become certified within 30 days from acceptance of this position.
- 10+ years of experience as an Executive or Executive Sous Chef in high-volume operations
- 7+ years of large-scale catering experience
- 5+ years of multi-venue management
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Understanding of measurements and conversions
- Strong working knowledge of all Windows based computer programs, computerized food productions systems and online ordering platforms
- Comprehensive knowledge of local, state and federal regulations in regards to food safety and sanitation.
