The Microsoft 365 Enterprise Cloud team is looking for a Senior Product Manager who can create clarity, drive results, and deliver exceptional product experiences within the Microsoft 365 government cloud and enterprise service offerings.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced contributor to drive customer voice, feedback, and satisfaction initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that customer insights are effectively gathered, analyzed, and acted upon to deliver continuous improvement and meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with different leadership levels to drive results.
As a Senior Product Manager for Customer Voice, this role requires you to be comfortable navigating a complex and dynamic engineering environment, build solid relationships with senior stakeholders, drive impactful work across a wide set of teams and
disciplines, and deliver programs that respond rapidly to customer feedback. The team’s charter includes:
- Customer satisfaction throughout their cloud lifecycle from contracting toonboarding and steady state
- Driving innovation from customer feedback and requirements, looking acrosscustomer verticals and clouds, for improved customer experiences
- Influencing internal stakeholders through programs and data driven analyses toenable customer focused outcomes
- Customer pulse and relationship management across all levels of customerleadership
- Strategic planning on core M365 market drivers, government policy, and contracting.
Responsibilities
- Enhance customer satisfaction through better onboarding and engagement experiences.
- Drive strategy in partnership with leaders across engineering, field, finance, and trust and compliance teams.
- Advocate for customer experience improvements and new feature requests with engineering and business leadership through a data driven approach.
- Drive program execution and lead a clear end-to-end view of expected business outcomes for owned processes, anticipating and mitigating risks.
- Manage stakeholder engagement rhythm and partnerships by addressing pain points to resolve challenges and to drive sustainment of improvements.
- Lead change management using advanced understanding of the business and continuous improvement.
- Identify new areas of opportunity for product investment to expand market and offerings.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, IT operations, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Federal Risk Authorization and Management Program requirements and their application to cloud service providers and deployments, National Institute of Standards and Technology security controls and frameworks, and Federal Information Security Modernization Act requirements
- OR equivalent experience
Other Requirements:
Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Candidates must have an active TS/SCI and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
- Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track reocrd in evidence-based analysis
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
- 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
- Reliable communications skills (written and oral)
- OR equivalent experience.
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
