We are seeking a visionary and high-agency marketing leader to serve as Senior Director, Customer and Partner Marketing. This role is responsible for leading the global strategy and execution of integrated marketing programs that deepen brand love and drive measurable growth across Microsoft Advertising’s customer and partner ecosystem.
You will oversee the evolution and amplification of our existing partner program, while also developing globally cohesive marketing programs that increase share-of-wallet and deliver consistent, high-impact experiences. This role requires a creative operator who can thrive with limited resources—prioritizing ruthlessly, driving efficiency, and maximizing impact through smart, scalable execution.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office within the US, or a 25-mile commute of a non-US, country specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. Responsibilities
- Define and lead the global strategy for customer and partner marketing, with a focus on scaling impact and deepening engagement.
- Evolve and expand Microsoft Advertising’s existing partner program to deliver greater value and alignment with business priorities.
- Develop and execute globally cohesive marketing programs that drive share-of-wallet growth and brand affinity in alignment with customer needs.
- Operate creatively and efficiently within resource constraints—prioritizing initiatives that deliver the highest business impact.
- Use insights and performance data to inform long-term planning, optimize marketing effectiveness, and drive business outcomes.
- Champion the use of AI in marketing workflows to enhance personalization, efficiency, and innovation.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and collaboration.
- Embody and promote Microsoft’s culture and values
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 7+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 7+ years experience partnering with global sales teams.
- 7+ years of people management experience, including hiring and developing talent globally.
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 4+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 9+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 9+ years experience partnering with global sales teams.
- 9+ years of people management experience, including hiring and developing talent globally..
- Strategic thinker with solid business acumen and a proven ability to drive measurable impact through innovation, customer success, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experienced in collaborating with analytics teams to translate customer and business insights into compelling marketing strategies and narratives.
- Exceptional communicator with executive presence, stakeholder management expertise, and a demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and drive complex change.
- Agile and creative problem-solver with a high-agency, growth mindset, and the ability to thrive in resource-constrained environments using AI-powered marketing tools.

Integrated Marketing M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $155,800 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,400 - $303,600 per year.
