Role Purpose

This role is responsible for End to End Ownership of Strategic Project Delivery in Data Lake Area and ownership of Data Analytics and Data Intelligence delivery.

Role Accountability

1. Execute analytical experiments methodically to help solve various problems and make a true impact across various functions.
2. Implement analytical models into production by collaborating with various system developers and machine learning engineers.
3. Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data stores, perform data and error analysis to improve models, and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy.
4. Analyze data for trends and patterns and share with Key stakeholders.
5. Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed to operational systems
6. Strong project management, communication and presentation skills 
7. Maintaining and monitoring project plans and schedules.
8. Desired knowledge of financial services industry esp. credit cards

1. Strategic Program Delivery in Data Lake Area 
2. Driving Data Science Initiatives in the enterprise
3. Voice of customer from stakeholders
4. Number of projects delivered in first time right 
5. Serviceability and uptime of applications as per defined SLAs
6. Strong Program Governance and controls for driving IT Strategic Programs
7. Effective stakeholder management across functions

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

1. BE/B-Tech/ME/M-Tech/MCA or Equivalent technical degree with minimum of 10 years of IT relevant experience
2. Strong exposure to machine learning models with hands on knowledge on model building and deployment
3. Strong knowledge on python, R, SQL, spark and other related languages
4. Good understanding of big data technologies like Cloudera Hadoop
5. Team & Stakeholder management skills

Competencies critical to the role

1. In Depth Knowledge of Python, R, SQL, spark, Scala, Hive, Pig, Hue and other related languages
2. Should have experience in financial and\or credit card processing domain 
3. Strong analytical skills

Qualification

B.E / B-Tech/MCA or equivalent technical degree

Preferred Industry

Credit Cards / NBFC/BFSI/Financial domain
