As a Business Manager-Vice President on the Media team, you will work closely with the Chief Media Officer and senior leadership, representing the Media team with professionalism and strategic insight. Your daily routine will include designing and executing communications strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and leading thought leadership initiatives. You will adapt approaches to meet evolving business needs and drive the team’s vision and impact. You will become an integral part of the Media team, where you will operate in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and each day will present new opportunities for influence and growth. This role offers a platform for professional advancement and the chance to shape the team’s reputation and engagement across the organization and industry. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement internal stakeholder management plans to drive alignment, engagement, and collaboration across the Media team and broader organization.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and industry bodies; represent the Media team in external forums, events, and working groups.
  • Develop and deliver compelling talking points, presentations, and communications for the Chief Media Officer’s internal and external engagements.
  • Serve as the brand manager for the Chief Media Officer and Media team, ensuring consistent messaging, positioning, and visibility across all channels.
  • Lead the vision, creation, and execution of whitepapers, manifestos, and perspective pieces that showcase the Media team’s expertise and strategic direction.
  • Craft compelling narratives to communicate team accomplishments, priorities, and impact to diverse audiences.
  • Plan and execute team events, offsites, and internal forums (e.g., Employee Appreciation Week, Town Halls, All-Hands meetings) to foster engagement, collaboration, and a strong team culture.
  • Coordinate agendas for key meetings, ensuring effective follow-up and accountability on action items.
  • Lead and execute key initiatives to increase productivity, improve resource allocation, and address business challenges.
  • Act as the primary contact for functional partners such as Controls, Legal, Compliance, and other internal working groups; represent the Media team in relevant forums and initiatives.
  • Partner with Controls, Legal, and Compliance teams to establish and maintain appropriate infrastructure and processes.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Significant experience in communications, stakeholder management, or business management roles, ideally at the Vice President level.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proven experience in brand management and executive communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop thought leadership content and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across functions and with senior leaders.
  • Advanced ability to organize, prioritize, and manage competing priorities.
  • Discretion and good judgment in confidential situations, with proven experience interacting with senior management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting at the Managing Director level (or equivalent) or above.
  • College degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Note: This role requires five days in the office (Mon-Fri) and will not support Hybrid options.
