The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Communications team is seeking a creative, organized and detail-oriented strategic communicator to help keep our advisors engaged and assist in executing the communications strategy for all advisor-led investment channels. This team of talented and experienced communications professionals works with groups across the organization to develop, edit and distribute communications every day to our field of financial advisors, senior leaders and partners. 

As the Internal Communications Senior Associate within the Wealth Management Communications team you will be a part of the fast-paced Field Communications team, which excels at taking on complex financial and regulatory issues and making them easily digestible for the average reader. You will ensure our advisors have timely information to better serve their clients. Responsibilities include producing timely communications, planning town halls, drafting and editing presentations, managing distribution and providing expert advice on communication matters. You will sit within the Content and Communications team, which reports directly to the CEO of J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, our team helps build a diverse and winning culture where all employees feel connected and engaged toward one common goal: helping clients make the most of their money, so they can make the most of their lives. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Liaise with our business partners to create a consistent voice across materials
  • Draft and edit internal communications
  • Assist with a wide variety of communications initiatives
  • Use internal technology to track engagement of internal communications and offer advice on the best strategy for reaching employees
  • Prepare presentations for and participate in meetings with senior business and client stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and manage stakeholder needs and expectations

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:

  • 3+ years of Communications experience
  • Superior writing skills with versatility in format, including technical writing, executive messaging and copy editing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Must be a quick study of complex or technical topics and be able to simplify those concepts into clear, precise writing
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working on daily deadlines
  • Must be able to produce urgent communications on demand
  • Must be focused, accurate and organized
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a group setting, and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to recognize and respond well to changing priorities
  • Bachelor's degree required
