As a Trade Lifecycle Manager III within JPMorganChase, you will be a key player in managing the operations of the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. You will leverage your deep understanding of trade lifecycle principles and practices to make impactful decisions that affect our operations and financial management. Your advanced skills in areas such as process improvement, automation, and project management will be crucial in driving efficiency and innovation in our operations. As a leader, you will manage a diverse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Your ability to influence and manage internal stakeholders will be key to achieving our strategic objectives. The candidate will be part of Recon Utility and will manage product governance and CASS deliveries for the functions in a 24 X 5 environment, supporting Asia, EMEA and WHEM regions. . The candidate will be responsible for understanding the key metrics and risk components
Job Responsibilities
- Consistently meet client requirements with a high level of timeliness and accuracy, maintaining compliance with CASS regulations.
- Foster a culture of productivity and quality through regular process reviews, documentation updates, and departmental competency assessments.
- Manage, motivate, and develop a diverse team, ensuring accountability, ownership of deliverables, and responsiveness to organizational changes.
- Lead multiple projects, identify opportunities for process improvement, and implement automation and project management strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate professionally with global managers and senior leadership to align departmental goals with broader organizational objectives.
- Oversee pre- and post-trade operations across all asset classes, monitor management information systems, and ensure effective risk management.
- Ensure effective, budget-compliant training, maintain advanced market product knowledge, and apply strong analytical and numerical skills to support decision-making.
- Minimum 7 years of experience or equivalent expertise in managing operations functions of the pre- and post-trading life cycle across various asset classes, with expertise in coordinating complex cash movements and preparing funding for managed demand deposit accounts.
- Proven track record in process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, alongside advanced skills in stakeholder management to influence and drive strategic objectives.
- Extensive experience in managing diverse teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence, and understanding the impact of trade support actions on other infrastructure groups like Finance, Market Risk, and Legal.
- Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration, as well as attention to detail and a sense of ownership in high-pressure, dynamic environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of key elements in infrastructure groups such as Credit Risk, Operational Risk, and Collateral, recognizing the impact of trade support team actions on these areas.
- Strong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of transaction lifecycle in Custody and/or subject matter expertise in Hedge Funds and Mutual Funds.
- Strong relationship management and partnership with a large array of constituents; ability to manage by influence to promote change and proactively identify and escalating issues.
