Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
2. Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
3. Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
4. Support test and deployment of new products and features
5. Participate in code reviews

Qualifications:

1. Understanding of containerization, experienced in Dockers, Kubernetes
2. Exposed to API gateway integrations like 3Scale
3. Understanding of Single-Sign-on or token based authentication (Rest, JWT, oAuth)
4. Possess expert knowledge of task/message queues include but not limited to: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin and Kafka
5. Experience in following best Coding, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices
6. Experience in Banking, Financial and Fintech experience in an enterprise environment preferred
7. Experience in Agile methodology
8. Ensure quality of technical and application architecture and design of systems across the organization
9. Effectively research and benchmark technology against other best in class technologies.
10. Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing deep knowledge and experience
11. Self-motivator and self-starter, Ability to own and drive things without supervision and works collaboratively with the teams across the organization
12. Excellent soft skills and interpersonal skills to interact and present the ideas to Senior and Executive management
