Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Partner Management, Business Development, Sales, or Channel Development in the technology industry.
  • Experience in public cloud solutions across SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS.
  • Experience in, or supporting industry, specialization, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience interfacing with and serving as a trusted partner for C-level executives in partner companies.
  • Experience working with Server, Storage or Network OEMs/ODMs.
  • Experience managing and growing technology partnership relationships with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
  • Experience in telecommunications or OEM businesses.
  • Experience launching partner products and solutions, including channel go-to-market motions such as multi-partner solutions, procurement through cloud marketplaces, and consumption-based solutions, while planning and managing at operational levels.
  • Understanding of Google platform products.

About The Job

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you will build relationships with OEM, ISV or SI partners that are key to the success of the GDC business. You will launch new relationships and programs, as well as drive expanded business opportunities, resolve business issues, and analyze and track key metrics to identify trends. You will have proven experience in negotiating and closing strategic partnerships and complex agreements, the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues and strong attention to detail. You will also possess advanced investigative skills regarding contractual, technical and financial issues with partners and the ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$249,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the relationship with OEM, ISV or SI partners that are critical to the success of the Google Distributed Cloud.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy and negotiation tactics to define business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners through effective communication, problem-solving, and proactive management.
  • Conduct market research and performance analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential threats related to partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management, product development and sales, to ensure alignment and seamless integration of partnership initiatives.
