Job Description

Summary:

As a Technical Consultant, you will help our clients solve challenging issues. The work is demanding and provides unparalleled exposure to unique opportunities. The learning curve can be quite steep at times, but the technical training program will help you develop a broad set of skills. Our focus is helping clients extract value from software solutions, not just on making the technology work.

You will help install, design and develop, and drive adoption of software solutions for a diverse set of clients in industries such as Life Science, Consumer Packaged Goods, High-tech, Manufacturing, and Energy.
 

Your Responsibilities:

• Achieve a balance between meeting client obligations, supporting their needs, and acting as an ambassador for the firm.
• Solution of complex business and technical problems.
• Design and configure PLM software solutions to incorporate new business processes.
• Train client personnel in PLM concepts and PLM software tool capabilities and functionality.
• Perform data conversion design/loading activities.
• Help design and develop custom reports and queries.
• Good exposure on customization.
• Hands on experience in Windchill infrastructure tasks such as Windchill installation, Windchill clustering, worker configuration, Tibco installation and configurations.
• Windchill re-hosting & upgrade process.
• Intralink to Windchill conversion process.
• Oracle to SQL Server DB conversion process.
• Good exposure on Windchill migration & WBM.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Degree in Science, Engineering, or IT.
• At least 5 – 8 years of technical work experience.
• 2 – 4 years of previous experience with PTC Windchill PLM systems and 2 – 4 years of work experience in the fields of New Product Introduction, Product Development, or Project and Portfolio Management.
• Experience with processing requirements and business process definitions, application design/configuration and integrated testing activities.
• Experience with training and support of end-users.
• Knowledge of PLM software solution capabilities, such as Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, Matrix One, TeamCenter, Eigner, Dassault.
• Experience with the following packaged solutions: Windchill PLM or any of its modules.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Experience working with the following: Java, SQL, XML, Web Service Integrations (acceptable C#, .Net).
• Lead technical discussions to develop solutions for clients.
• Write and propose technical design.
