About This Role:
This role will lead design strategy and execution for high-impact employee-facing digital products, ensuring experiences are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with business goals. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how employees interact with key platforms and communications across the enterprise, while mentoring others and influencing design culture across teams. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and can be based in Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN or San Francisco, CA. The Wells Fargo job profile is Lead Product Designer.
In This Role, You Will:
- Design Leadership: Own end-to-end design for enterprise digital products, from discovery through delivery. Champion design thinking and user-centered methodologies.
- Data-Informed Design: Leverage analytics, user research, and feedback loops to inform design decisions and optimize experiences.
- Design Systems: Develop and maintain scalable design systems to ensure consistency across platforms.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate design reviews and communicate design rationale to stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with content strategists, developers, researchers, and business stakeholders to align design with strategic objectives.
- Platform Optimization: Enhance global navigation, SEO, and accessibility across enterprise sites. Ensure compliance with WCAG/ADA, brand, and legal standards.
- Design Execution: Create wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes to deliver intuitive, high-impact products.
- Mentorship & Influence: Guide junior designers and contribute to team rituals that foster growth, innovation, and excellence.
- Agile Execution: Represent UX on SCRUM teams and collaborate with Technology to ensure optimal implementation of design specifications.
- Impact Measurement: Define and track success metrics to evaluate design effectiveness and inform future iterations.

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Online and Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic, and Visual Arts experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience leading end-to-end design initiatives for enterprise-level digital products.
- Experience applying data-driven insights from user research and analytics to inform design decisions.
- Experience building scalable design systems that ensure consistency across platforms and teams.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with developers, researchers, and strategists.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma to create high-quality design assets.

- 600 South 4th Street - Minneapolis, MN ($131,000 to $206,000)
- 333 Market Street - San Francisco, CA ($143,000 to $224,000)
Pay Range
