What is the job about?
The Senior Customer Sales Specialist supports strategic accounts by delivering world-class customer service and sales support across multiple channels, including CRM support email, telephone, live chat, Teams, and Outlook. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless experience for key accounts within the CBS performance unit, with a focus on resolving complex inquiries and facilitating business transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
As the internal point of contact for accounts such as Texas Air Systems, the specialist provides a customized and dedicated level of support to foster long-term relationships and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude and strategic mindset, capable of identifying opportunities, crafting tailored solutions, and clearly articulating the value of Grundfos products and services.
This role reports to the USA CSSC Front Line Manager and operates out of our Brookshire, TX office on a hybrid basis.
Please note that relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have the authorization to work in the USA without support.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver value-added selling to designated key accounts by positioning Grundfos as a comprehensive solutions provider.
- Organize and lead tailored onboarding and training sessions for key account employees and clients, including customized sales and support presentations.
- Provide primary support for escalated inquiries related to quotes, orders, complaints, and the Order-to-Delivery process.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth and meet revenue targets, while providing regular status updates.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key accounts to understand and fulfill their evolving needs.
- Promote and guide customers in using Grundfos digital self-service tools such as GPC, MyGrundfos, and Extranet.
- Manage complex order fulfillment tasks, including manual and electronic orders, supply chain coordination, and proactive issue resolution.
- Handle customer order changes, shipment consolidation, and support for returns and complaints, ensuring smooth communication with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Demonstrate accountability for both personal and team performance, consistently striving to exceed customer expectations.
Your Background
We Imagine That You Have:
- Associate or bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 5 years)
- In-depth knowledge of Customer Services. Relevant administrative experience, organizational skills & accountability with the Customer.
- Knowledge of business structure, products and key market needs to create a successful Customer centric experience.
- Subject matter expert within Customer Service software, databases and SAP CRM/SD/MM.
- Current with relevant technology and trends and applications.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Good communication and networking skills together with the ability to build strong and trusting relationships with both Internal and External Stakeholders.
- Excellent written and spoken English
- The ability to operate out of the Brookshire, Texas facility in a hybrid function.
