Food & Beverage Solutions

We have launched a new platform called Food and Beverage solutions, part of our ingredients and solutions reporting unit. This platform consolidates our current category solutions capabilities and innovation infrastructure. We support customers in developing new consumer concepts and application solutions at our four customer solution centers in Amsterdam, Bangalore, Chicago, and Singapore.  Food and Beverage solutions leverages the strengths of our five product platforms, including their global and sustainable supply chain capabilities, a complementary portfolio of high-quality food and ingredients, and extensive ingredient expertise. This enables us to address a diverse range of customer requirements in the rapidly evolving Food and Beverage industry. Built on deep consumer, category, and application understanding, we are enhancing our application and R&D capabilities to provide an end-to-end integrated customer experience. Job Description

Are you passionate about creating delicious, innovative food solutions? We’re looking for a Solutions Specialist to join our Customer Solutions Center and help shape the future of sweet food products like coatings, fillings and spreads for confectionery, bakery, and ice cream.

In this role, you’ll work hands-on in our labs to develop recipes, test ingredients, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring high-quality, scalable solutions to life. You’ll be a key technical expert, translating customer needs into real products that taste great and perform well

What You'Ll Do

• Develop and test recipes tailored to sweet product categories
• Collaborate with teams across R&D, sales, manufacturing, and more
• Stay ahead of trends and regulations in food technology
• Support customer projects from idea to implementation
• Document your work and share knowledge across teams
• Travel to meet customers and support projects (20–30%)

What We'Re Looking For

• A Master’s degree in Food Technology or related field
• 8+ years in food ingredients R&D, especially in fat-based applications
• Strong formulation skills and a creative, solution-driven mindset
• Passion for food innovation and sensory science
• Inclusive, respectful, and fun to work with
• Fluent in English; another European language is a plus
