Job Summary: The Resource & Referral Specialist (RRS) for MomsPRN, in conjunction with the RI DOH, helps to evaluate the mental health, substance use, and other support service needs for eligible providers and their perinatal patients struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. The RRS performs day-to-day clinical activities and triage functions for MomsPRN. The RRS also serves as a liaison for providers and patients to community behavioral health resources. The RRS works collaboratively with clinical and support staff of Women’s Behavioral Health (WBH) and members of the MomsPRN team, and the RI DOH to share resources, support one another, and implement strategies.
Specifications: Master’s Degree in social work , psychology, or related field. LCSW or related preferred. Minimum of four years related work experience and a minimum of 2 years related clinical work experience. Mental health experience required with preference to women’s mental health. Preferred experience in issues of perinatal mental health. Knowledge of medical terminology, health and wellness and healthcare office experience. Demonstrated expertise utilizing various software applications, including Microsoft Office applications, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation graphics, database utilization, and medical system software, EPIC preferred. Ability to work independently while prioritizing workload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfort and ability to deliver presentations to health care professionals. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
