Job Description
Role Objective
Lead and execute Process/Manufacturing Engineering Projects to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations. This role is key to enhancing efficiency, quality, and output.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Projects: Champion New Process Introductions/Developments, Process & Tooling design, and Automation Projects.
- Operational Excellence: Drive Lean Manufacturing Projects (focused on Uptime/Scrap reduction), manage Equipment Upgrades & Improvements, and develop new processes and machines.
- Team & Project Management: Prioritize and coordinate the team's project workload, ensure adherence to timelines, and coordinate team support for operations issues.
- Collaboration: Act as a technical communicator across functional teams and Liaise with the maintenance team on activities and spares.
Qualifications
Essential
- Education: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Manufacturing).
- Experience: 7+ years in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to manage multiple complex projects.
- Adept at working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Agile and able to adapt quickly to changing business priorities.
- Strong communicator of both technical and non-technical information.
- A champion of change initiatives.
- Highly self-motivated; capable of working effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to manage multiple complex projects.
- Adept at working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Agile and able to adapt quickly to changing business priorities.
- Strong communicator of both technical and non-technical information.
- A champion of change initiatives.
- Highly self-motivated; capable of working effectively with minimal supervision.
Desired
- Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing or a GMP environment.
- Experience with Lean Tools and strong Analytical Skills.
- Experience in managing a team, coaching team members, and managing project budgets.
A Strategic thinker.
