Now, about his opportunity: We are seeking a detail-oriented LATAM Data Finance Analyst to partner with finance, accounting, and business teams across Latin America. The ideal candidate will blend strong data analytics with financial acumen to deliver accurate financial reporting, practical insights, and data-driven support for planning, forecasting, and decision-making in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, including advertising/creative services context.

Key Responsibilities

Data and reporting

  • Extract, clean, consolidate, and validate financial data from ERP, CRM, billing, and other systems for LATAM.
  • Produce timely management reports, dashboards, and KPI metrics (revenue, gross margin, utilization, project profitability, cash flow indicators).
  • Maintain data governance, data lineage, and data quality controls; implement standardization across LATAM entities.

FP&A support

  • Assist with monthly close activities, consolidation, and variance analysis for LATAM.
  • Support budgeting and rolling forecast processes with accurate data inputs and scenario planning.
  • Create and maintain financial models and dashboards tailored to regional needs and agency/advertising business drivers.

Analytics and insights

  • Analyze client profitability, project cost trajectories, and resource utilization to identify efficiency gains.
  • Monitor key operational metrics (billing cycle, days sales outstanding, revenue recognition timing) and flag anomalies.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to regional FP&A, sales, and operations teams.

Automation and tools

  • Develop and automate standard reports, ETL processes, and data pipelines; reduce manual workloads.
  • Support BI tool usage (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Big Query etc.) and empower users with self-service reporting capabilities.
  • Assist in the implementation or optimization of finance systems and integrations (ERP, CPM, CRM).

Compliance and controls

  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with local regulations; support internal/external audits with accurate data extracts.
  • Maintain documentation of data sources, definitions, and reconciliation procedures.

Collaboration and governance

  • Partner with LATAM finance, regional FP&A, accounting, and business teams to align data definitions and reporting standards.
  • Translate complex data into clear storytelling for regional leadership and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in financial data analysis, FP&A support, or business intelligence; experience in advertising/agency finance or marketing services is a plus.
  • Technical skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, Power Query) and SQL basics.
  • Experience with ERP/GL systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with data visualization, KPI design, and data storytelling.
  • Analytical & problem-solving: Ability to translate data into actionable insights; strong attention to detail; critical thinking.
  • Communication: English fluency required; Spanish or Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable working in a matrix organization; ability to partner with cross-functional teams.
  • Personal attributes: Proactive, organized, deadline-driven, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
