Essential:Experience in Playwright / SeleniumSpecflow/ReqNroll or similar BDD frameworkJIRA (or equivalent)Confluence (or equivalent)General:10+ yrs QE testing experience with a demonstrable track record on large greenfield projects Test Automation Strategy & Best Practices – Ability to assess when to use automation vs. manual testing based on risk, ROI, and test stability.API & Integration Testing – Hands-on experience with standard industry tools such as PostmanRisk-Based Testing Decisions – Ability to determine which tests should be automated (high-volume, regression, API) vs. which should remain manual (usability, exploratory, edge cases).Test Maintenance & Scalability – Ensuring automation is sustainable by implementing best practices like self-healing tests, modular frameworks, and reusable test scripts.Shift-Left Testing – Embedding automation early in developmentExploratory & Manual Testing Strategy – Understanding the value of manual testing in scenarios that require human intuition, such as UX, accessibility, and new feature validationAgile & Scrum Experience – Active participation in Agile ceremoniesExcellence in soft skills including communication, collaboration and problem solvingAutomation Framework Design – Experience building and maintaining robust automation frameworksLeadership experience – experience with leading Quality Engineers/Automation Engineers.Pipeline & CI/CD experience – setting up, maintenance and running of pipelines, etc.Desirable:Performance & Load Testing – Familiarity with tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner
