ALBERT HOTEL is hiring for an IN ROOM DINING SERVER 

An urban oasis, tucked away off of Main Street in the heart of Fredericksburg, TX, Albert Hotel offers a peaceful yet sophisticated luxury experience in Texas's famed Hill Country. Opened in January 2025, the property features 105 thoughtfully appointed guest rooms and suites, along with uniquely designed bunk rooms and a private house with custom furnishings, locally-curated amenities, and thoughtful touches. 

With the guest experience in mind, Albert's elevated amenities include a sunken limestone pool featuring an outdoor bar and cabanas, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 2,000-square-foot full-service spa. Additionally, the property is home to four on-site culinary outlets, including The Restaurant at Albert.  

Albert boasts 3,600-square-foot of semi-open air event space, a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine deck, and an expansive event lawn, making it a prime destination for weddings, private events, and intimate gatherings. 

What You'Ll Do:

• Deliver five-star, personalized dining experiences to each room with attentiveness to guest preferences, room-specific service nuances, and dietary requirements
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all menu offerings, including our premium spirits, signature cocktails, and exclusive supper club dishes, enabling you to provide thoughtful recommendations to guests
• Perform thorough quality checks on each order, ensuring accuracy, proper presentation, and adherence to our hotel’s high standards before delivery
• Provide prompt service, balancing efficiency with the luxury touch expected in a five-star establishment, always mindful of our guests’ needs and schedules
• Carefully set up in-room dining trays or tables according to our presentation standards, creating a refined dining atmosphere that matches our upscale restaurant setting
• Engage with guests to assess satisfaction and record any feedback or requests, working closely with the culinary team to continually enhance the in-room dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of in-room dining areas and equipment in accordance with health, safety, and service standards
• Handle guest concerns or service challenges with tact and efficiency, ensuring that each guest feels valued and respected

Who You Are:

• You meticulously follow the order and presentation guidelines to ensure each guest receives a flawless in-room dining experience.
• You have excellent verbal communication and active listening skills to accurately relay guest orders and handle any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• You have a strong service orientation with a keen ability to anticipate guest needs, providing warm, intuitive, and personalized service at all times.
• You can work well with culinary, restaurant, and housekeeping teams to coordinate timely and seamless in-room dining service.
• You efficiently manage your time to prioritize tasks and meet service expectations within a fast-paced environment.
• You have a minimum of 2 years in a high-end dining or in-room dining setting; experience in a luxury or boutique hotel environment is highly preferred.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills with a polished and professional demeanor to engage comfortably with discerning guests.
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, proactively addressing guest needs and adjusting as necessary to provide an exceptional service experience.
• You are able to carry trays, stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
