Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and strategic leader to join our team as a Research Director. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to our clients, building strong relationships and delivering impactful insights that help them achieve their strategic goals. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and leverage your expertise to craft compelling, data-driven narratives that drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues, becoming a trusted partner for marketing, sales, category teams, and beyond.
- Understand client needs and design solutions that address both strategic and tactical objectives.
- Deliver analytics and insights services, including tactical client training for NIQ and GFK CMI solutions.
- Provide flawless execution of research and analytics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Identify business opportunities through regular client interactions, collaborating with the Account Development team to drive growth initiatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of client priorities and demonstrate how our solutions align with their business goals.
- Create and deliver compelling insights, providing clear, actionable recommendations that empower clients to grow their business.
- Serve as a confident and engaging storyteller, presenting data-driven insights in a way that resonates with diverse audiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in market research, with a focus on consumer and marketing insights.
- Strong client-centric mindset and ability to foster meaningful relationships.
- Deep understanding of the data analytics industry
- Awareness of market trends and interdependencies impacting client businesses.
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to confidently interpret and analyze data.
- Problem-solver with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Engaging presenter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced in working within an analytical environment.
- Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
