IT Operations Analyst

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and driven Operations Analyst III to serve as a system administrator for our LuminX and Enterprise platforms. This role is essential to maintaining the accuracy, performance, and reliability of our insurance claims processing, billing, and eligibility systems. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues, test updates, and implement best practices — becoming a subject matter expert in our core systems.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in insurance operations or healthcare billing who enjoys solving problems, working cross-functionally, and stepping into leadership as our department continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain LuminX and Enterprise claims and billing systems.
• Troubleshoot system issues and deploy updates and enhancements.
• Support claims processing, billing/coding, and EDI transactions (claims, enrollment, remittance).
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders on system implementations and product rollouts.
• Provide end-user support, documentation, and training for system workflows.
• Manage help desk queue, addressing projects, problems, and inquiries.
• Mentor team members and contribute to leadership development within the department.
• Perform occasional off-hours/weekend system updates as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in system administration, insurance operations, claims processing, or a related field.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with medical billing/coding, EDI transactions, CMS guidelines, and insurance industry standards.
• Skills: Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and project management skills.
• Mindset: Collaborative, analytical, and eager to grow into a subject matter expert.
• Preferred: Experience with LuminX, Enterprise, or similar claims platforms; certifications such as MCSA, CompTIA+, or ITIL.
