Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP, Group Management Supervisor to lead and grow a key client group within our healthcare advertising agency. This role is pivotal in driving strategic client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the healthcare advertising landscape, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of exceeding client expectations. 

Role Requirements:

Client Leadership & Strategic Partnership 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior-level clients, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships 
  • Develop and present strategic marketing plans and recommendations that align with client objectives and drive business growth 
  • Proactively identify and address client needs, anticipating challenges and providing innovative solutions 
  • Lead strategic planning sessions and workshops, ensuring alignment between client goals and agency deliverables 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the client's business, industry, and competitive landscape 

Team Leadership & Management 

  • Lead and mentor a team of Account Supervisors, Account Executives, and/or Account Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment 
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional development and growth 
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the client group, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards 
  • Manage team workloads, allocate resources effectively, and ensure efficient workflow 
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members 

Financial Management & Business Growth 

  • Manage client budgets and ensure profitability of assigned accounts 
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for organic growth within existing client relationships 
  • Contribute to new business development efforts, participating in pitches and presentations 
  • Accurately forecast revenue and manage client billing processes 
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including creative, strategy, medical, and production departments, to ensure seamless project execution 
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent messaging 
  • Ensure all projects meet all regulatory standards 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree  
  • Minimum of 10-13 years of experience in healthcare advertising, with a proven track record of success in account management and client leadership 
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and regulatory environment 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills 
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships 
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills 
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software 
  • Experience with Digital marketing within the healthcare space 

Salary range: $190,000 - $220,000

The salary range provided is for the NYC-hybrid position, which requires occasional in-office presence, and represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. For candidates in other locations, salary will be adjusted to reflect local market rates. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
