Here’S What You’Ll Be Doing:
- Performs initial screening to determine appropriateness and need of services.
- Conducts a comprehensive assessment of clients identifying strengths, weaknesses, problems, and the needs for the development of a behavior modification plan.
- Administers programs and services for behaviorally or emotionally troubled students for the purpose of improved functioning and ensuring program eligibility and compliance with established guidelines.
- Assists in developing procedures and training materials for all staff involved with students.
- Assists director in relaying information to appropriate staff about behaviors and provides support on how to cope with these behaviors.
- Assists with planning and implementation of summer programming for Summer Day Camp and Summer Youth Employment.
- Provides individual, group, family coaching to assist client in goal of achieving a healthy lifestyle.
- Documents in a timely fashion the results of assessment and behavior plans, progress notes, summaries, and other related data into the education database.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field;
- Three years’ experience in mental health care delivery.
- Must have a valid, clean driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age
- Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five or more years’ experience in mental health care delivery
