Job Description
As a talented individual with an in-depth knowledge of the Canadian market you will join our Trading Product team. You will leverage a strong understanding of the gambling industry to produce actionable insights through market research, competitive analysis, and performance monitoring.
You will support senior leadership with data-driven reports and drive continuous improvement by optimizing strategies for the Canadian market. The role will involve flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends to cover the busy sporting calendar.
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000 annually.

Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of the Canadian sports landscape and betting market dynamics.
- Strong interest and understanding of the gambling industry, including product, regulations and licensing.
- Capacity to produce insightful reports and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with a capacity to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in conducting competitor analysis, market research, and commercial forecasting.
- Results driven with the desire to test, re-evaluate, optimize, and test again.
- Trading experience is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
- Team player that can encourage and contribute an opinion on our and competitors’ products.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Additional Information
- Overseeing the monitoring and analysis of commercial performance metrics across the Canadian market, ensuring the timely reporting of KPIs and driving optimization strategies.
- Utilizing both internal and external data sources to generate actionable insights that inform and support strategic business decisions.
- Conducting competitor analysis and market benchmarking to anticipate industry trends and refine business strategies.
- Providing cultural insight into consumer behaviors and preferences.
- Staying informed of industry developments, regulatory changes and emerging market opportunities, assessing their potential commercial impact on the business.
- Recognizing, managing and escalating of real time issues with our Sports product and betting tools.
- Creating reports that will lead to proposals for various areas of our sports product offering including markets/betting opportunities, site functionality, terminology and promotions.
