What will your role be? 
As a Digital Workplace Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, managing, and supporting end-user computing devices and collaboration tools while ensuring a secure and seamless digital employee experience. Your focus will span across technical support, system management, cybersecurity, and user engagement as you contribute to a high-performing and innovative IT environment.

Job Description

  • Deliver technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals including troubleshooting OS issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and device configurations while ensuring alignment with company security policies
  • Image, configure, and deploy new end-user systems and maintain lifecycle processes for devices and mobile platforms
  • Utilize and support endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Jamf for patching, software distribution, and compliance
  • Administer collaboration platforms including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and video conferencing solutions to drive communication and productivity
  • Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues and support seamless access through VPN and cloud integrations
  • Assist in documenting network-related configurations and contribute to resolution efforts for digital workplace incidents
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity practices across endpoints including antivirus, encryption, DLP, MFA, and incident remediation
  • Promote user awareness around cybersecurity and support compliance with regulatory standards such as NIST or CMMC
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and licensing records while documenting procedures and support guides for knowledge sharing
  • Generate performance reports and support metrics to continuously improve digital workplace operations and user satisfaction
  • Actively participate in IT projects such as hardware refresh, new tech implementation, migrations, and collaboration tool adoption
  • Work closely with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that enhance employee experience
  • Encourage the adoption of new tools and processes that promote collaboration and digital efficiency

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in desktop support or digital workplace roles within enterprise or industrial environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Deep technical knowledge of Windows and macOS platforms with familiarity in iOS and Android device support
  • Strong experience using endpoint management solutions such as Intune, SCCM, or Jamf for system configuration and policy deployment
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, and access management principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online
  • Working knowledge of network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN, and troubleshooting connectivity issues
  • Understanding of infrastructure components including virtualization tools like VMware or Hyper-V and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Awareness of endpoint cybersecurity including antivirus solutions, encryption, MFA, and adherence to compliance frameworks
  • Experience with scripting tools like PowerShell or Bash to automate tasks and improve digital workplace efficiency
  • Familiarity with ITSM practices and frameworks such as ITIL Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support and educate users while translating technical details clearly
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, evolving IT environments while maintaining a focus on service quality
