SageSure is seeking an enthusiastic Producer Advocacy Representative with experience providing white-glove service to our producers. As a Producer Advocacy Representative, you will provide high-quality support to producers by answering policy questions specific to post-bind changes, reviewing coverages to ensure our policyholders are adequately protected, and evaluating documents to ensure accuracy in handling. The ability to handle inquiries in a positive and professional manner, along with knowledge of insurance industry terminology, policies, and procedures, is required for this roleThe ideal candidate will be a problem solver and be effective handling difficult conversations with our producersAdditionally, you will work closely with the underwriting team, managing the initial review of inspections, processing changes to the policy when authorized to make decisions, and deferring to an underwriter when not empowered to make underwriting decisions.

What You’D Be Doing:

  • Support insurance producers over the phone and email within a contact center environment 
  • Identify and assess the needs of customers, and provide accurate and complete information by using the right methods/tools 
  • Meet individual and team performance targets 
  • Review property inspections for admitted and non-admitted products, fully handling concerns within your authority, and engaging underwriting on the remainder 
  • Handle post-inspection inquiries from producers, including the Replacement Cost and Coverage A inquiries  
  • Process policy changes, including endorsements and coverage inquiries 
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution 
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies 

 We’re looking for someone who has: 

  • At least 2 years of experience within the insurance industry and/or contact center service experience  
  • Internal candidates: at least 1 year of insurance experience with 1 year of SageSure Contact Center experience 
  • Professional telephone, email, and communication skills 
  • Computer skills in various applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel 
  • Strong work ethic, punctual, dependable, with a history of good attendance 
  • Proven successful customer support experience  
  • Track record of achieving targets and goals 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters 
  • Ability to multitask (specifically while talking with customers and resolving their inquiries) 
  • Proficiency in navigating Windows-based computers and using multiple software applications across two monitors 
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Ability to work 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EDT Mon-Fri, and occasional overtime on Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM 

Highly Preferred Candidates Also Have:

  • Associate’s Degree 
  • Experience supporting both Personal Lines and Small Commercial (BOPs)  
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License is a plus, but is not required 
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking
