About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our Prescribing & Customer Support team, working alongside 8 engineers (including 3 Salesforce engineers). This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining critical features on our healthcare platform using Salesforce technologies.
The ideal candidate brings deep Salesforce expertise across Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Service/Health Cloud, along with strong architectural judgment and a proven track record in large-scale Salesforce implementations. As a senior team member, this person will provide technical leadership, guide architecture decisions, and mentor junior engineers, ensuring our Salesforce ecosystem is scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals
What You’Ll Do
- Expand and grow client accounts by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on a deep understanding of client business objectives.
- Manage existing client accounts, serve as the primary point of contact and build
- Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow
- Build and maintain features across Salesforce Core Clouds, such as Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Additionally, experience with Experience Cloud and Health Cloud is preferred.
- Configure declarative solutions for complex business requirements
- Design and implement robust integrations between the eMed Platform and Salesforce
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce issues
- Support end users with platform questions and system functionality
- Investigate and resolve data integrity issues
- Assist with user access and permission troubleshooting
- Advise on Salesforce architecture decisions and technical strategy
- Guide team on Salesforce development approaches and best practices for scalable, maintainable solutions
- Review technical designs and provide recommendations
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on the technical roadmap
- Support technical evaluations of other consultants when required, contributing to the assessment of skills and alignment with project needs
What You Bring
- 8-12+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Senior-level knowledge of Apex, Lightning Experience, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL.
- Strong configuration skills - Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, etc.
- Service Cloud expertise - Case management, Knowledge, Omni-Channel, Queues, Roles
- User management and security - Role hierarchies, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules
- Integration experience - REST APIs, SQS, Platform Events, middleware platforms
- CI/CD and deployment practices - Version control, automated testing, deployment pipelines

- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, pharma, financial services)
- Health Cloud experience - Care plans, clinical data models preferred
- Large-scale Salesforce implementations (complex orgs, high data volumes)
- Data governance and security knowledge
- AWS Connect and Okta integration experience
- JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency
