The Senior Executive, Warehouse Operation (Inbound) Is A Critical Hands-On Role Responsible For Meticulously Managing The Entire Inbound Logistics And Inventory Receiving Process For Anymind Group'S E-Commerce Fulfillment Operations. This Role Demands Exceptional Organizational Skills And A Strong Commitment To Inventory Accuracy, Focusing On The Seamless Flow Of Goods From Delivery To Organized Warehouse Storage. You Will Serve As The Primary Point Of Contact For All Incoming Shipments, Ensuring Strict Compliance With Safety, Quality, And Internal Procedures While Leveraging Warehouse Management Systems (Wms) And E-Commerce Platforms To Drive Efficiency And Operational Excellence, Especially During High-Volume Sales Campaigns.
What You'Ll Do
- Oversee and Manage Inbound Shipments: Coordinate with the inventory team and manage the complete process of all incoming goods, including scheduling inbound with clients and ensuring timely and efficient offloading of shipments.
- Goods Receipt and Inspection: Conduct thorough checks of all received inventory against purchase orders and shipping documents (quantity, expiry date, condition) to identify and document any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues immediately.
- Inventory Put-Away and Storage: Ensure all received goods are accurately scanned, and systematically stored in designated warehouse locations promptly, adhering to internal inventory control and storage guidelines (e.g., FIFO, location optimization).
- System Data Entry and Reconciliation: Accurately update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with all receiving data, ensuring that physical stock matches system records and resolving minor system errors.
- Maintain Safety and Compliance: Enforce and adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, housekeeping standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to the receiving and inbound process.
- Coordination and Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for inbound logistics, liaising effectively with carriers, vendors, inventory planning teams, and internal warehouse teams to resolve delivery issues.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key inbound metrics, such as receiving turnaround time and receiving accuracy, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the inbound workflow.
- Working Schedule & Ad-Hoc Tasks: Be available for work on Sales Campaign period to ensure continuous and efficient operations. Be prepared to take on additional ad-hoc duties and special projects as required to support the dynamic needs of the business.
Who You Are
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with specific experience in E-Commerce fulfillment and a strong understanding of the E-Commerce platform.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to work with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and e-commerce dashboards. Must be proficient in using software for inventory tracking, order management, and shipping label generation.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Competence in data entry and basic analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as receiving accuracy, processing time, and inbound labor productivity.
- Process and Procedure Knowledge: Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail to ensure high accuracy during inbound. Strong working knowledge of best practices in receiving, quality checking (QC), and putaway processes. Must understand the flow of goods from supplier delivery to storage location.
- Communication & Problem-Solving: Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with logistics partners and internal teams. Must be proactive in identifying and resolving inbound issues quickly and efficiently.
- Independent Work Ethic: Proven ability to work independently and manage daily tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Physical Stamina and Flexibility: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving moderately heavy items, and flexibility to work extended hours or rotating shifts as dictated by high-volume periods (e.g., holiday sales, double digit sales) or operational needs.
