About this role in the team:

As Senior Treasury Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in assisting in the day-to-day treasury operations across our fiat and crypto businesses. This includes overseeing liquidity management, ensuring full regulatory compliance with safeguarding and custody of client funds, and continuously improving our treasury controls and processes.

You will work closely with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure customer assets are protected, accurately accounted for, and available when needed.

We’re looking for a professional who has a passion for automation and AI-driven efficiencies, alongside maintaining accuracy and identifying process improvements proactively. The ideal candidate will have an interest in AI and automation, with proven examples of leveraging technology to optimise treasury workflows.

Key Areas Of Responsibilities:

Liquidity Management

Monitor and manage daily liquidity across multiple fiat and crypto accounts to support smooth operational flows.Forecast cash and crypto flow requirements under normal and stressed conditions.Execute fund movements between internal and external accounts, banking partners, and exchanges.Assist in optimizing treasury structures to improve cost efficiency, transaction speed, and risk reduction.Work with internal teams to compile, validate, and report accurate daily Net Asset Value (NAV) figures in line with internal and regulatory expectations.

Operational Support

Support the implementation of treasury processes that align with safeguarding and custody requirements.Coordinate with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure treasury operations are consistent with BVNK’s regulatory obligations.Support relationship management with custody and banking partners, including onboarding and operational coordination.
Provide input for audits, reconciliations, and reporting.Identify operational risks within treasury workflows and escalate or recommend mitigations as appropriate.

Systems & Process Improvement

Contribute to the enhancement of treasury management systems, tools, and reporting processes.Collaborate with technology teams to streamline treasury workflows and build scalable solutions.Drive automation opportunities and help integrate AI-driven efficiencies into treasury operations.Participate in process reviews and continuous improvement projects to strengthen control and performance.

Ad Hoc Requests & Cross-Functional Projects

• Support management and senior leadership with ad hoc treasury analyses, reports, and data requests.
• Assist in responding to time-sensitive inquiries from internal stakeholders, including Finance, Risk, and Product.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as the business evolves.

What We Need From You:

• 5+ years experience in Treasury, Payments, Operations, or Finance within fintech, crypto, or financial services.
• Deep understanding of fiat and cryptocurrency, liquidity management, and operational risks.
• Experience with treasury management systems, reconciliation tools, and crypto wallets.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, reconciliation, and reporting abilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing policies, processes, and systems from scratch, establishing high-performing operational environments.
• Strong financial acumen, commercial awareness, analytical skills and the ability to lead both complexity and volume of demand
• Strong ability to create and then expand operations reporting and metrics.
• Change management skills - experience with/heavily involved with high-level process change.
• Strong interest in AI and automation, with proven examples of process improvements using technology highly desirable
