Practical Information:

Location: Auckland, New Zealand | Reports to: Operations Manager | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for New Zealand | Language Requirements: Professional level English, written and verbal | Work Arrangement: Hybrid

As our new Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee the efficient and effective delivery of services, ensuring alignment with the customer’s needs and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned key customer accounts
  • Build and maintain trusted, long-term partnerships with senior customer stakeholders, including occasional meetings with international stakeholders across various timezones
  • Understand each customer’s business goals and align services to support their success
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand services and add value within existing accounts
  • Ensure all contracted services are delivered in full and on time each month, working on a rostered basis and assisting with escalations as needed

Your Competencies

  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a managed services provider environment
  • Solid working knowledge of IT systems and networks
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build rapport and understand technical needs
  • ITIL training or Azure certifications are advantageous, with the ability to lead technical conversations in commercial settings with non-technical stakeholders

  • You have effective collaboration and communication skills that enable you to engage directly with stakeholders at all levels and work efficiently as part of a team
  • You are a proactive self-starter who is comfortable working independently
