Job Summary: This is a critical role in the marketing team that will contribute to the overall reach growth of the channel. This role will be responsible for managing on- air, PR, digital and all other media roll-out of campaigns for new launches. It will also involve overlooking the marketing and overall health of some sustenance shows.
About the team:This team ideates & implements marketing interventions to increase brand awareness, drive sampling and improve viewership of content on our channel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the show marketing lead to create and execute media plan of their respective shows
- Will be responsible for positioning creatives (Promos) of their respective shows
- Will have to highlight potential opportunities and red flag issues of their respective shows basis trends
- Will collaborate with internal teams which include but is not restricted to – Digital, OAP, Graphics, Content, PR, Traffic and Presentation
- Will collaborate with external teams from the media, creative and research agencies
- Create business presentations for leadership as required
- Translate brand/ show strategy into marketing plans & communication to successfully invite viewers to the channel/show
- Work closely with research team - qualitative and quantitative to build consumer learnings in Marketing initiatives
- Keep track of market trends, evolving consumers, competitors’ activities to identify opportunities for the channel
- Key collaborations (Internal): Programming team, Communication team, Consumer Insights team, Media planning team, Central teams, Social Listening, Legal team, Sales team, distribution team
- Key collaborations (External): Media, Digital, On ground, PR, Research, Advertising agencies
Skills & Attributes For Success:
- Passion for knowing the consumer (his/ her behaviour, desires, pains and aspirations) and ability to transform a consumer insight and knowledge of a show to marketing brief
- Has worked on 360-degree marketing plans (TV, Print, Radio, Digital, on ground, PR) with keen interest in tying the larger marketing thought to individual ideas
- Keen Interest in General entertainment category - stories and characters across fiction shows, talent shows, events, etc.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media is a plus
- Basic knowledge of TV viewership data - Reach, TSV, GRPs etc. and its application to Marketing is a plus
Preferred Education & Experience
- 7+ years of experience from a TV, OTT or advertising agency
- Postgraduate qualification required
