Description:
Teneo Digital provides innovative strategic advisory and powerful digital solutions to the world’s leading CEOs, companies, and organizations, helping them navigate a complex, connected environment where reputation and results are shaped in real time.
We’re seeking a Senior Associate to help develop and execute digital strategies for C-suite leaders, their businesses, and their brands. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, dynamic individual who lives and breathes digital media, has deep expertise across the major social platforms, possesses a deep understanding of audience engagement, and can work seamlessly in a campaign-like fashion across a wide variety of industries and sectors.
You’ll work as part of an integrated team to enhance clients’ digital strategies and deliver measurable outcomes. Day to day, you’ll serve as a trusted resource, advising on social- and digital-first communications, building and refining executive and corporate profiles, translating trends into actionable recommendations, and driving key moments that advance business and reputation goals.
Responsibilities:
- Drive stakeholder engagement with client teams to identify key strategic challenges and digital needs; translate into clear action plans.
- Develop integrated channel strategies with audience- and format-level prioritizations across owned, social, search, and paid.
- Design and implement social plans for executives and corporate channels, aligned to personal, brand, and business goals.
- Operate in fast-moving digital campaigns: manage time and priorities, pivot plans in real time, and manage approvals and escalations to balance speed with governance.
- Manage day-to-day client workstreams: set agendas, drive decisions, surface risks, and keep actions moving with minimal oversight.
- Create client-ready POVs and build persuasive decks that structure insights, recommendations, and next steps.
- Draft client-facing memos and social copy in the appropriate voice, requiring minimal editing, including issues/crisis updates when needed.
- Present on client calls; field questions and issue recaps with owners, timelines, and next steps.
- Measure and report performance: analyze campaigns, distill learnings, and create case studies that inform ongoing optimization.
- Drive proactive insights by monitoring competitors, industry news, and trending cultural moments; flag emerging risks and advise teams on implications.
- Champion platform expertise and enablement: stay current on LinkedIn, X, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, etc.; educate internal teams on trends and tools while identifying engagement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years in digital/social, with ownership of workstreams on complex accounts and integrated campaigns.
- Proven track record planning and optimizing multi-channel programs (owned, social, search, paid) with measurable impact (e.g., SOV, engagement, amplification, reputational lift).
- Ability to operate in fast-moving campaigns and news cycles; balance speed with governance through smart approvals and escalations.
- Advanced platform expertise across all major social platforms, with the ability to build channel strategies and editorial calendars grounded in audience and format priorities.
- Experience helping design and launch paid spends (e.g., LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, X Ads, Google Ads/search), with a working knowledge of targeting, testing, and optimization levers.
- Social listening expertise and experience using tools (e.g., Sprinklr/Brandwatch/NewsWhip) to monitor competitors, cultural trends, and crisis moments, translating signals into recommendations and action.
- Knowledge of issues/crisis workflows (escalation paths, approval flows, stakeholder mapping, basic risk assessment).
- Executive-ready communicator: crafts POVs, persuasive decks, memos, and social copy with minimal editing; confident presenter with clients.
- Client services experience: manages multi-workstream plans, dependencies, and vendors; comfortable with tools (e.g., Asana/Smartsheet) and light budget stewardship.
- Working proficiency with AI/LLM tools to speed research and analysis while adhering to privacy, security, and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; willing to support time-sensitive needs including nights and/or weekends when necessary.
