Summary:

The objective of this position is to increase the sales and distribution of AllianceBernstein Mutual Funds and Investment Services in the territory of operation.   The position requires that the Wholesaler to work in conjunction with the Country Head and other Wholesalers to form an effective sales team.  Their mission is to develop and increase sales and distribution of AllianceBernstein Mutual Funds and Investment Services from a diversified account base, located in a specific geographic location or in a particular sales channel.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize business potential for new and existing clients, with high compliance of regulations and internal guidelines
  • Develop new and nurture existing client relationships.
  • Present AllianceBernstein and Funds product line in an intelligent manner.
  • Ensure expedient and accurate resolution of all incoming inquires by the distributors.
  • Ensure follow-through and continue communication between AllianceBernstein and the investment community.
  • Provide post-sales support to clients
  • Provide continual feedback to management on market conditions, distributor and product requests, competitor information and operational or other issues.
  • Interface between various departments such as Strategic Planning, Marketing, Product Development, Legal, Operations and Accounting on issues as they relate to these departments.

  • Must be a team player and work well in collaboration with the Country Manager.
  • Must be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle a wide range of inquiries and manage small projects efficiently.
  • Must maintain a professional, courteous, and flexible demeanor at all times.
  • Should possess a supportive and persuasive telephone manner when interacting with clients.
  • Must have proficient personal computer skills, including familiarity with relevant software.
  • Ideally bilingual in the local or required language(s) and English.
  • Previous experience in sales management and administrative roles is preferred but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior sales staff.
