About The Role

Senior Specialist - Corporate & Regulatory Assurance
The role is responsible for supporting the Senior Associate Director and Principle in the area of Financial Crimes, including the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF), the Anti-Corruption and bribery (ACB), the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS). The job ensures alignment with Group Compliance policies, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements. The job is required to run the compliance program for AIAT by performing risk assessment, facilitate for policy implementation, setting out procedure to enhance controls and monitoring for all requirements to fulfill AML/CTF, ACB, FATCA and CRS, including providing compliance consultation/advice to business process owners and relevant work with other Compliance colleagues on relevant tasks and act as subject matter expert.
  • Build and develop, recommend and implement relevant processes and controls to prevent financial fraud, especially in relation to anti-money laundering (AML)
  • Supervise and analyse transactions to verify the appropriateness of relevant activities
  • Make sure that employees receive appropriate testing and qualifications related to AML regulation
  • To build and establish compliance culture/ awareness in the organization.
  • Responsible for other relating tasks as assigned to align with business policy and build long term business growth.
