Job Details:

This position is responsible for loading and moving offal trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Department:  This position is responsible for loading meat and feathers on a trailer going to the renderer. The Offal Driver takes the trailer to the scale house to check the weight and drains water out of the trailer. The offal driver fills out paperwork concerning offal loads, (Foreign material sheet and trailer load out sheet). This position is also responsible for cleaning the offal area.

Responsibilities:

Loading offal trailers (meat and feather) during shift

Must have knowledge and ability to operate a tractor-trailer rig

Cleaning and keeping the area clear of clutter

Washing Downloading Areas

Degreasing Equipment

Cleaning Concrete

Operate/Drive Forklift

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Must be able to work overtime when needed

Position Specific:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have current Driver’s License, which is not suspended, revoked, or canceled.

Has no DWI/DUI conviction within the last 12 months.

Compensation: $18.25/hr.
