Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

The Senior Operations Coordinator assumes a crucial role in leading the Site Operations, Region, and/or Task Order Operations to adhere with contractual reporting requirements, established company policies, and procedures. Primary responsibilities are to conduct comprehensive audits of facilities, equipment, and services comparing them against Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs).

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Assess conditions, compliance, and functionality of various elements within a site to improve operational efficiency.
  • Supervise Operations staff with daily activities and support the Operations Manager and Regional Site Manager in fulfilling internal/external reporting requirements.
  • Lead by example, demonstrate self-motivation, and maintain the utmost integrity.
  • Responsible for the timely completion and submission of contractually required reports in accordance with the contract.
  • Perform routine assignments as an operations professional.
  • Perform a wide range of coordination activities in support of the Operations Manager and Regional Site Managers.
  • Perform on-site assessments of facilities, equipment, and services, in relation to the adherence to PWS, Technical Data Packages (TDP), and CDRLs, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Record detailed observations and findings during on-site audits.
  • Compile comprehensive reports outlining discrepancies, non-compliance issues, and recommendation for improvements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Collaborate with site, regional operations personnel, and relevant stakeholders to gather necessary information and discuss audit findings.
  • Clearly communicate CDRL, internal report non-compliance and provide corrective actions.
  • Suggest enhancements to audit processes to increase reporting efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Document meeting minutes for distribution through SharePoint After Action Report (AAR)/Memorandum for Record (MFR) platform.
  • Adapt to changing priorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of directly related experience. A High School Diploma and an additional 5 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.
  • Must have at least 2 years of overseas deployment experience on a LOGCAP assignment, specifically in an operations management role.
  • Requires 1 year of previous Operations Coordinator experience or equivalent Military experience.
  • Must possess a basic understanding of the LOGCAP concept of operations including Performance Work Statement (PWS) and associate technical exhibits.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Must be able to multitask proficiently while meeting short suspensions for both scheduled Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and unscheduled reports/tasks.
  • Must be highly skilled in producing professional internal and external communications.
  • Requires experience using Service Order / Customer Service systems.
  • Requires Maximo experience.
  • Must possess a driver’s license with at least six months of validity.
  • Must be a highly organized self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined team environment with the ability to manage competing priorities to achieve goals.
  • Must be proficient with the Program Management Office (PMO) Operations Desktop Operating Procedures (DOP), including but not limited to: Employee Messages, Incident Reporting Requirements, Crisis Management Action Team, Situation Report, Aircraft Accident/Incident Emergency Response Plan, and Master Schedule of Work.
  • Must have the ability to switch between multiple tasks regularly.
  • Advanced in English proficiency: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English at an advanced level.
  • Fluency in Romanian language and possessing an unrestricted right to work and reside in Romania .

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Knowledge and experience of working with and developing Power BI Dashboards.
  • Knowledge and experience working with the Appian system.
  • Familiarity and experience developing Basis of Estimates (BOE’s).
