Job Summary

KBR is seeking a Billeting Supervisor to oversee the operations of billeting facilities, ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all personnel. The Billeting Supervisor will direct daily activities of the billeting team, monitor occupancy levels, enforce compliance with established standards, and supervise subcontractor staff to ensure a professional and well-maintained living environment. This role is essential in maintaining high service standards, proper facility management, and compliance with LOGCAP requirements.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of billeting facilities, ensuring compliance with KBR, U.S. Government, and host nation regulations.
  • Oversee reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and occupancy rates to optimize lodging capacity.
  • Supervise, escort, and direct subcontractor employees engaged in billeting services.
  • Ensure key control procedures are followed and records maintained accurately.
  • Oversee inspections of living quarters and common areas, coordinating with maintenance and operations for timely service order completion.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies for living quarters and cleaning; ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
  • Ensure Technicians and Coordinators provide professional, responsive customer service to all personnel.
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns or lodging-related issues.
  • Conduct regular safety briefings, enforce adherence to safety standards, and promote a safe working and living environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of occupancy, maintenance requests, and billeting activities; prepare reports as required.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to build morale, communicate updates, and provide training as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with security and cleanliness standards throughout billeting operations.
  • May be responsible for budgetary oversight within assigned area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field with 5–7 years of relevant experience; or a High School Diploma/equivalent with additional years of directly related work experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in billeting, hotel, or hospitality operations.
  • Strong knowledge of lodging regulations, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Experience managing teams and subcontractor employees.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with computerized reservation systems.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Intermediate in English proficiency: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English at an Intermediate level.
  • Fluency in Romanian language and unrestricted right to work and reside in Romania.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Prior experience in hotel management, hospitality supervision, or contingency billeting operations.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts or working in a LOGCAP environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and lead diverse teams in challenging environments.
