Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Job Summary

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading the daily operations of one or more laundry facilities to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role oversees employee performance, maintains production standards, ensures compliance with safety and government regulations, and manages issue resolution related to laundry services. The Laundry Supervisor works closely with the Site Management and other departments to achieve operational goals, improve processes, and maintain a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead daily laundry operations to ensure production standards are consistently met.
• Plan, organize, and assign tasks to staff, providing clear direction and performance feedback.
• Monitor employee performance, work quality, and compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry production, inventory, and customer service activities.
• Handle escalated customer service issues, including claims investigations and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, KBR policies, and LOGCAP requirements.
• Oversee quality control and inventory checks throughout the laundering process.
• Coordinate with Materials, Maintenance, and QA/QC to support equipment maintenance, supply stock levels, and service delivery.
• Ensure preventive maintenance tasks for laundry equipment are carried out in coordination with Maintenance staff.
• Promote and enforce adherence to safety standards, conducting regular briefings and inspections.
• Recommend and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare reports and communicate progress, issues, and corrective actions to the Laundry Manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

• High School Diploma or equivalent; undergraduate degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant laundry operations experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of laundry processes, inventory management, and quality control standards.
• Proven ability to supervise and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills, with experience in issue resolution and claims investigations.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Intermediate in English proficiency: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English at an Intermediate level.
• Fluency in Romanian language and unrestricted right to work and reside in Romania.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

• Prior experience managing laundry operations in a U.S. Government contracting or LOGCAP environment.
• Experience in preventive maintenance of laundry equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements in a production environment.
• Knowledge of customer service best practices in hospitality or contingency operations.
