Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Job Summary

The Transportation Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily transportation operations, including vehicle movements, dispatching, and maintenance coordination. This role ensures that all transportation requirements are met efficiently, safely, and in compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational standards. The Transportation Foreman provides leadership to transportation personnel, maintains accountability of vehicles, monitors budget expenditures, and supports mission readiness through effective planning and oversight of transportation activities.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and supervise transportation operations to meet customer movement requests and requirements.
• Coordinate the dispatch, scheduling, and routing of vehicles to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Maintain accountability of all vehicles, ensuring proper records are kept for usage, inspections, and maintenance.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles and completed transportation tasks to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Initiate and track requisitions for vehicle repairs, ensuring timely maintenance and service.
• Manage and maintain the transportation technical library, records, and reference materials.
• Monitor transportation budget expenditures, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Provide guidance, supervision, and support to drivers and transportation staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, organizational policies, and applicable regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing transportation-related inquiries, concerns, and requirements.
• Collaborate with logistics, maintenance, and other departments to coordinate support for transportation operations.
• Prepare and submit reports related to vehicle usage, costs, and transportation activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or vocational training in Transportation, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management.
• At least 1 year of supervisory, lead, or foreman experience in transportation operations.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle operations, dispatching, and maintenance coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret transportation regulations, technical manuals, and related documentation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to supervise and motivate teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license with ability to operate company vehicles as required.
• Intermediate in English proficiency: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English at an Intermediate level.
• Fluency in Romanian language and unrestricted right to work and reside in Romania.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

• Prior experience in U.S. Government contracting or LOGCAP environment.
• Familiarity with transportation safety and compliance standards (U.S. and host nation).
• Experience managing vehicle accountability systems and transportation reporting.
• CDL or equivalent heavy vehicle license strongly preferred.
