In this role you will concentrate on selling BioAnalytic R&C to strategic accounts and sell a new exciting and growing portfolio of Life Science R&C to new and existing customers within the defined sales territory.
This position requires the candidate to be fluent in French and English, while meeting the travel requirements of 75% home office and 25% travel to support in person channel partner sales events within and outside the sales territory as required.
You will be part of a team of 5 virtual sales professionals located through EMEA tasked with increasing R&C revenue through customer outreach, specifically by Phone, Microsoft teams meeting or custom webinar to new and existing customers.
Grow with Us - Your Responsibilities
- Conduct sales events defined as either phone calls or teams meetings, which either initiate, steer or close a sales opportunities. Webinar attendees can also be counted if the webinar is solely designed, conducted and attendees followed up by the technical sales specialist.
- Expectation is an average of 4 hours a day in direct communication with customers (Teams, Phone)
- To document competently all sales opportunities customer interactions in our CRM SFDC detailing BANT qualification where applicable and the opportunity next steps.
- To generate CapEx leads while discussing R&C’s and document these in SFDC and transferring the leads to your field sales counterpart.
- To meet and exceed sales targets for both portfolios of products namely Bio-Analytical reagents and life science R&C.
- To complete a multistage, follow up of R&C samples sent reporting sample conversion rates and outcomes.
- To maintain a close relationship with the field sales team to work together within strategic accounts to sell Bio-Analytical R&C and regionally to aid the selling of Life Science Reagents.
- To maintain a high level of knowledge of the R&C portfolios and conduct a mix of independent and trainer led learning strategies.
- To report sales performance and territory analysis during quarterly in person business reviews.
What will convince us
- You are fluent in French and English.
- You have a minimum of 3 years Life science sales experience. In either inside sales or field sales.
- You have engaged in previous sales training with knowledge of how to cross sell and up sell products.
- You have a Life science degree and a practical knowledge of cell culture, live cell imaging and molecular biology.
- Your sales career history is referenceable, and you can demonstrate past achievement of hitting sales targets.
- You have existing knowledge of the French and Benelux Life Science Market.
- You are comfortable with working in a performance-based sales roles with defined key performance indicators and sales targets.
- You have either existing knowledge or have researched the Sartorius BioAnalytics and life science portfolio.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
