Job Description: Order Management Delivery Intern

Position Overview: As Order Management Delivery Intern you will be responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end order fulfillment process. This includes processing customer orders, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that products or services are delivered on time and to the customers' satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities as Order Management Delivery Intern:

• Work on customer inquiries and if necessary, create offers for the customer to create the prerequisites for closing a contract.
• Enter customer orders in the ERP system and determine the delivery dates (technical clarification, commercial clarification incl. creditworthiness, export control checks, checking of delivery dates and confirmation, order confirmation to the customer) to fulfill the customer order at the requested date.
• Monitor order related compliance of the delivery dates and quantities to initiate proactive measures for optimizing delivery reliability in good time and to be always capable to provide information.
• Monitor delivery dates and timely initiates deliveries or if necessary, handle backorders with automatic delivery collection to ensure delivery reliability to the customer.
• Coordinate invoicing to the customer, performing the related post calculation, controlling order cost receipt and utilizing the possibilities of additional charges to optimize the value flow and show a correct margin.
• Prepare regular business reports, check for accuracy and completeness.
• Actively contribute to cooperation with all others involved and with interface partners and passing on all relevant information to keep themselves and others informed and create an optimum logistics chain.

Qualifications And Skills:

1. Education And Knowledge:

• 3rd or 4th year undergraduate in faculty of related areas.
• Good command of written and spoken English (German is an asset).
• Good command of MS Office applications
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Flexible and good team player
• Result orientation with strong analytical thinking

2. Availability:

- Able to work minimum 2,5-3 days/week in office (Tres Cantos-Madrid).
