LECTURER, INTERNATIONAL TRADE BUSINESS - SCHOOL OF BUSINESS & ACCOUNTANCY

[What the role is]

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, International Trade Business in the School of Business & Accountancy.

[What you will be working on]

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Design and deliver engaging lessons, workshops and assessments that inspire learning.
• Refresh and enhance curriculum to reflect real-world trends in international trade and business.
•  Equip students with skills to use Generative AI ethically and effectively in their learning.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records of performance and attendance.
• Mentor and support students in both their academic journey and personal growth.
• Lead impactful learning journeys, including overseas trips that broaden global perspectives.
• Contribute to school initiatives, cross-functional projects, and academic operations.

• [What we are looking for]
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience; teaching or training experience is a plus.
• A passionate educator with a nurturing mindset and strong rapport with learners.
• Creative in using digital tools and tech-enabled strategies to enhance student engagement.
• Confident in teaching international trade, global business operations, and related topics.
• Proficient in MS Office and Power BI; knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
• Industry certifications (e.g. Procurement, Business Analytics, Six Sigma, Sustainability) are a bonus.
• A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple projects independently.
