Job Description

To provide specialist digital marketing advise to stakeholders and execute activity and project delivery according to set digital, direct and content marketing strategies and objectives

Hello Future Digital Strategist & Multimedia Producer

Welcome to FirstRand Namibia Group, where we believe help is at the heart of human greatness.

Our purpose is to help build a globally competitive Namibia and as part of our team, you will be surrounded by unique talents, diverse minds, and an adaptable environment that lives up to the promise of staying curious.

Now’s the time to imagine your potential in a team where experts come together and ignite effective change.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a digitally fluent, creatively driven professional to take charge of our digital content publishing and multimedia production across all communication channels (internal and external).

In this hands-on role, you will execute digital initiatives and create engaging multimedia content that brings our brand stories to life. You’ll manage content on our social media channels, and produce high-quality videos and graphics, while working closely with the communications team to amplify our message.

This role is key to ensuring our online presence is vibrant, consistent, and effective in resonating with our audiences.

Are You Someone Who Can:

  • Manage digital content calendars and ensure timely publishing across social media platforms.
  • Create and edit multimedia content – from short videos to podcasts – that captures attention and elevates our storytelling.
  • Track and report on performance across digital and multimedia channels, using analytics to help optimise content and campaigns.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with communications colleagues and marketing consultants to plan and execute campaigns with cohesive messaging and visuals.
  • Ensure brand consistency by adhering to corporate identity guidelines and quality standards in every piece of content you produce or post.
  • Monitor digital engagement (views, comments, shares, etc.) and gather insights to suggest continual improvements to content and channel tactics.
  • Stay curious and innovative, keeping up with digital trends and suggesting new formats or tools (e.g., live video, animations, or emerging platforms) to help us connect with our audience in fresh ways.

You will be an ideal candidate if you meet the below minimum requirements:

  • Formal qualification in Digital Media, Videography, Communications, Design, or a related creative or technical field is preferred. Candidates with strong portfolios and proven experience in multimedia production, digital publishing, or content creation are encouraged to apply, regardless of academic background.
  • 5–7 years in digital communications or marketing, with a strong track record in content creation (especially video production and graphic design) and managing social or web channels.
  • Proficiency with digital tools – e.g., video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar), graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva), and content management systems. Strong understanding of social media platforms and basic HTML/CMS skills for web updates.
  • Excellent storytelling instincts with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual content. A portfolio or examples of past multimedia work will be a big plus.
  • Great team player who can work across departments. Clear communicator who can take a brief and run with it, but also isn’t afraid to share ideas and feedback.
  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. Experience in maintaining content schedules or project plans in a fast-paced environment.
  • Up-to-date on digital trends and eager to learn new skills. Able to adjust tone or style for different audiences (internal vs external) and pivot quickly when priorities change.

Are you interested to take the step toward this exciting opportunity? We look forward to engaging with you further.
