What You'Ll Do:
- Reporting directly to the VP, FPA Retail Operations, the Senior Financial Analyst, COO Support will be responsible for preparing financial analysis and reporting to support Retail performance
- Provide support to COO organization by monitoring results, providing analysis, investigating variances and identifying risks and opportunities with a focus on providing meaningful actionable insights
- Prepare, analyze, and deliver month end review presentations for overall Retail performance
- Review key performance metrics (financial and business metrics) to improve existing reports and develop new reports.
- Build robust and interactive reports to shed light on the performance of various initiatives.
- Lead a variety of ad hoc projects as assigned
- Work collaboratively with the Banner FP&A teams
- Foster strong working relationships across the businesses and work proactively to identify opportunities for finance to act as a strategic business partner.
- Optimize tasks to increase efficiency and accuracy, include driving the design of automation for the business.
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 2 -3 years experience in forecasting and planning.
- CPA designation is a nice to have.
- Experience within the retail sector is preferred
- Ability to clearly and confidently, communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to influence and persuade different points of view.
- Ability to execute multiple projects and drive key business results under tight deadlines.
- Strong time management and self-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in an ambiguous environment
- Self-starter attitude with willingness to learn and master new technologies.
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience using Hyperion Planning & HFM, Peoplesoft accounting systems.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills; able to see the “big picture” in a complex business environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
