About The Team

As an Infrastructure Automation Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) joining our DevSecOps team, you’ll be part of a collaborative, future-focused group that embraces automation, cloud native technologies, help build the secure, scalable platforms that power our enterprise systems and infrastructure as code to drive secure software delivery and operational resilience.

About The Role

As an Infrastructure Automation Engineer / SRE, you’ll be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining the core infrastructure that underpins our Core Platform offerings. You’ll work across on-premises virtual infrastructure and cloud native platforms to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Your work will directly support the delivery of secure, scalable solutions across Australia and globally.

What You’Ll Do

• Design, build, and automate infrastructure platforms using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage and support Kubernetes environments (Rancher, Red Hat OpenShift, VMware Tanzu).
• Maintain and optimise virtual server infrastructure and developer environments (VDI).
• Support and secure operating systems (RHEL, Ubuntu)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration and infrastructure as code practices.
• Participate in incident response, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the delivery of secure Core Platform services across the enterprise.

What You’Ll Bring

• Proven experience in infrastructure automation, DevSecOps, or SRE roles.
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience managing virtualised environments and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Linux-based operating systems (RHEL, Ubuntu).
• Familiarity with databases, middleware, and developer tooling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system reliability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams.
• A growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance (baseline or higher).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.
