The Quality Control Technician III is responsible for accurately reviewing work by other departments to ensure all steps were taken, paperwork was properly completed and calls were properly addressed and handled. A Quality Control Technician III is responsible for reporting of client, departments and individual metrics and provide trending data. A Quality Control Technician III is responsible for processing exceptions to process, billing inquiries and audit requirements.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities*

  • Review work product of team members, client or department at set percentages, records accuracy and provides feedback.
  • Summarize data in spreadsheets to provide to various Clients, Supervisors, and Managers.
  • Daily use of Microsoft Excel to provide high level detail of various processes, trends and data for presentations.
  • Responsible for professionally handling written or verbal communication concerning processes, existing or potential.
  • Review steps taken by employee by either reading or listening to process steps taken.  Provide constructive feedback.  Ensure state laws were followed.
  • Professionally communicate or obtain work with or from teams without disruption.
  • Lift tubs or boxes of work up to 15 lbs.
  • Make suggestion for process improvements.
  • Assist supervisors or management as needed.  Provide pinch hits for supervisor or manager.
  • Review and process billing for state websites.
  • Coordinate and maintain information and visits with auditors.  Ensure teams have submitted proper documentation for audit.
  • Review, process and educate concerning rejection and exception processes concerning various processes.
  • Identify error trends.
