In this role, you'll manage a book of assigned Key Accounts. You will be a trusted advisor to our clients, using your HR experience, ADP product expertise, and consulting skills to solve their most critical business challenges. You carry the weight of ADP's service reputation and client satisfaction in your hands.
The Key Account Executive (KAE) strengthens the connection with clients through service and consultation. Acts as HR Strategy - Organizational Development subject matter expert for the client and provides consultation to strategically drive results with the goal of increasing client satisfaction and retention. Works directly with the client and internal teams to oversee and bring resolution to complex client issues.
In this position the KAE will ensure the delivery of Service Excellence and the improvement of overall client relationships and client experience. Understand the perspective of the client and takes proactive steps to maximize client satisfaction, including client outreach programs as applicable. Travel is required to support client visits and strengthen client relationships. Effectively maintains, builds and manages client relationships at all levels to ensure clients achieve their business strategies utilizing ADP's Human Capital Management tools - services. Responsible for driving results with clients, with the goal of increasing client experience, advisor experience, participant experience and client retention. Partners with Sales, Implementation, and Operations organization to resolve escalated and complex client issues.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:
- Manage a book of assigned key accounts, functioning as a consultant on strategic human capital processes and programs, including workforce planning, competency modeling and development, recruiting, hiring and on-boarding, succession planning, performance management, leadership/employee development, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with Service/Operational Teams, Sales, and Market Leadership to evaluate and deliver on client needs Analyze employee data and feedback to identify strengths, weaknesses, and root-cause issues.
- Client Evaluation: support the due diligence process for prospective clients, and identify additional service opportunities for existing clients
- Client Service: deliver a best-in-class client experience through proactive, impactful, and responsive partnership and influence
- Present recommendations and actions for improvement
- Leverage ADP data, tools, and resources to support clients in driving strategic business decisions
- Build mutually beneficial relationships with C-suite leaders, communicating effectively to obtain awareness, understanding, and buy-in of TotalSource value
- Assess, develop, and implement organizational structures that are aligned with clients’ strategies
- Develop and implement processes and procedures in key focus areas, including recruitment, talent development, compensation, and change management
- Serve as escalation point for all billing and pricing questions
- Work with market leaders to develop and implement best practices around service challenges, product quality, and service delivery enhancements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications
- 40% travel required within the GA, FL, NC region/surrounding regions
- Candidate must be located in FL, GA, NC area/surrounding areas as they will be required to manage an external client territory/book of business within the region/surround region.
- 8-12 years of experience in Human Capital Management consulting in Payroll, Human Resources, and/or Professional Employer Organizations (PEO).
- Relationship management and human resource experience in a fast-paced service environment.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering strategic and operational human capital management programs and processes while working with executive c-suite
- Developing, coaching, and leading high-performing teams
A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experiences could include:
- Experience noted above, OR
- Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
- HR Certification or willing to pursue in the first year
- Demonstrated ability to drive results through individual efforts and influencing others, without authority over them.
- Strategic Thinking - demonstrated ability to assess needs and provide innovative solutions to assist clients in meeting their business objectives through the use of ADP's products and service.
- Communication-able to interact with all levels in an organization including plan participants, managers and executives. Ability to act as the liaison between clients and ADP's Service Teams
- Problem-solving and Collaboration: experience in identifying, solving and executing problem resolution.
- Possess strong financial and business acumen and savvy.
- Understands and is able to explain client pricing and profitability.
- Is able to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-caliber results.
- Demonstrated ability to lead others through tough situations.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight time frames.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Must possess an executive presence and skills to build strong, working relationships from front-line people to Senior Executives across business units and with clients
- Must possess thorough knowledge and appreciation of quality and execution with a focus on a team-based approaching using collaboration.
