Strategy expert (m/f)

As Strategy Expert, you co-create company’s strategy and actively manage its execution. Your main role is to provide strategic guidance to all parts of the company in core and non-core areas by taking into an account market development, identified pockets of growth and potential challenges/disruptors.

You are challenging status quo, proposing reactions to market development within strategic guidelines.

You are monitoring market development (telecom, macro) in Croatia and broader and using those insights to develop competitive strategies using economic/competitive tools (e.g. war games) to propose concrete actions for the future.

In this role you will report to the Director of Strategy sector.

Main Responsibilities

• Co-creation of Company’s strategy and business development
• Identification and evaluation of new strategic initiatives and opportunities including development of business models
• Proposes actions and responses on trends and disruptive events, primarily in the telecom industry and macroeconomic KPIs
• Initiates strategic development of market positioning and new areas of experience, growth or development of HT
• Ensures strategic alignment with customer experience , product platforms and relevant internal business counterparts

Qualifications & main competencies

• A degree in economics (preferably)
• Good knowledge of macroeconomic terms and preferably telecommunication market
• 5+ years of experience in finance and/or commercial area in an international environment, preferably experience in Big 4
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Structured, proactive and results-driven
• Team-player with positive attitude and growth mindset
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow
• Project management / leading of complex interdisciplinary projects
• Fluency in English
