The Director, Product Management is responsible for product vision, strategy, and implementation of initiatives for Inspira’s retirement services line of business. The incumbent will play a key role in identifying product opportunities to the everchanging market landscape of auto-rollover business and helping drive the overall growth of the business. This role requires collaboration across functional teams to drive product ideation, develop roadmaps, assess resource allocation, perform market research, and build business cases, all while aligning with the overall company’s direction.
• Driving product vision and roadmap with key focus on brining innovative products to the retirement services market.
• Managing external vendor SOWs with clear objectives and delivery goals.
• Establishing success metrics for the product that align with the company and business goals.
• Leading and developing a team of product managers, product owners and business analysts.
• Driving the maturity of product management and Agile practices in the organization.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, product design, marketing, operations, sales, and executive leadership) to deliver high-quality products to institutional and investor clients.
• Bringing the voice of the customer and data backed approach to defining, prioritizing, and executing product roadmap.
• Engaging internal stakeholders to understand business unit’s needs, identify new growth opportunities, and ensure alignment with their objectives.
• Evaluating the current vendors and driving the selection of new vendors to enhance the product portfolio.
• Researching and keeping abreast of latest industry trends in retirement services industry and modern product management practices.

Essential Functions:
Team Lead
• Provide training, career development, coaching and issue resolution as directed for the team.
• Contribute to performance management and team member coaching discussions.
• Assist People Leader in delegating the day-to-day work as needed.
• Deliver and ensure exceptional client service and experience. Assist in monitoring and benchmarking service levels.
Manager

• Manage a program or specialty area of the business.
• Communicate clear priorities and relevant information to implement day-to-day work.
• Resolve the most difficult problems facing the team, program, or specialty area.

Director
• Is the authority or directs distinct company-wide process or area of work.
• Execute the strategy and is responsible for the deliverables and meeting the metrics determined by the leader.

• Promote an environment that values ideating and creativity in problem solving. Prioritize ideas that will result in the most value to the organization.

Senior Director
• Authority on and directs a distinct company-wide area of work.
• Develop goals, metrics, and execution plan for their function (from the broader strategy laid out by their leader) and deliver on time results as well as determine, follow, and meet their set budget plan.
• Set challenging goals and develop metrics and execution plan to accomplish them for the function.

Managing Director
• Manage a significant functional unit with major company-wide impact.
• Develop and determine strategy for their business unit by partnering cross departmentally.

• Lead and deliver initiatives with major impact company wide.

• Develop and set the organization-wide vision, mission, and strategy, and ensure the company is operating as directed by the board and CEO.

• Responsible for external company branding, reputation, and visibility within the market to increase the company’s value.
• Responsible for communicating the WHAT and the WHY to all team members.
Qualifications Years of Experience: • Background in Financial Services and Fintech is a must.
• 10+ years of experience
. Degree: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. . Certification: N/A . Skills & Abilities: • Experience in human-centered design, design thinking and Agile product management methodologies.
• Experience in cloud-native products.
• Leadership skills to gain credibility, garner respect, and guide the creation of self-organizing teams.
• Experience ideating and delivering products in a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic, innovative, and creative thinker with a solid fintech foundation
• Expert in Agile practices such as iterative development, incremental delivery, backlog management, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to connect and engage with the cross-discipline teams, facilitate discussions, advocate for the team, mentor team members, and resolve conflicts.
• Solid analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of technical concepts and architectural principles to drive scalable solutions.
