The Lead Retail Store Manager (RSM) at Prime Communications is a professional leader who plays a key role in the management of the company AT&T stores, under the direction and collaboration of the District Manager and sales department leaders. This role consists of serving as a direct contact with clients and ensuring the best customer service at their store. The RSM facilitates and coaches their team of Retail Sales Consultants (RSC), Loss Prevention team, and other employees to establish a positive and productive cross-functional team responsible for the sales of AT&T products, services, and promotions and consistency in achieving and exceeding established sales targets and goals.

- Work Shift: 32 hours/week minimum, 8-hour work shifts plus evenings, weekends, and holiday availability.
Responsibilities
- Exemplary Customer Service: Demonstrate excellent customer service to all clients, build and maintain strong customer-company relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Coach Sales Team: Ensure RSCs (Retail Sales Consultant) are well-equipped to fulfill their responsibilities by providing proper training, coaching them with best practices to set up and close deals, and address concerns to ensure the sales team is working at their full potential. Create and foster a goal-oriented, professional workforce that ensures sales targets and goals are met and exceeded.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory levels, stock rotation, and work with RSCs to manage the inventory. Conduct monthly stock and inventory evaluations, identify, and address discrepancies, and maintain accurate and presentable inventory records.
- Loss Prevention Management: Coordinate with Loss Prevention to ensure any fraudulent or suspicious activity is addressed and resolved promptly and effectively. Implement effective security measures to prevent theft, shoplifting, and enforce safety standards that safeguard sensitive information and protect customer data.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor and account store expenses within budgetary constraints. Implement and enforce store policies that align with business values and protect the brand of AT&T and Prime Communications. Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and corporate teams to optimize supply chain and operational processes.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate is a motivated, entrepreneurial individual with strong general management knowledge, eager to grow quickly within a fast-growing, reputable organization. This role offers significant earning potential along with personalized 1:1 training for professional development.
- The program requires a 2-year commitment that includes ongoing training and leadership development, along with a required relocation to a select store location. Relocation assistance is provided to ensure a smooth transition.
- Candidates who can begin as early as January 2025, with relocation completed by February 2025, are preferred.
- The position offers a competitive $60,000 annual base salary, with uncapped monthly sales incentives (National RSM monthly incentive average is $20,000 per year).
- Additional temporary financial support includes:
- Rent Assistance: $850 monthly rent assistance payout ($10,200 per year) for the first 2 years of the program. Max rental assistance value is $20,400 for the program.
- Program Incentive: Upon successful program completion and continued employment for 2 years in any field management role, a one-time bonus of $20,000 ($10,000 per year) will be awarded.
- The role is designed to fast-track high-performing individuals into multi-level leadership positions, with the opportunity to become a District Manager in as little as 2 years.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field Graduate of participating University and approved application for Grad to Lead
- Ability to work at least 32 hours per week, 8-hour work shifts per day with flexible scheduling that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation to attend assigned store locations, work at multiple locations as needed, attend off-site training sessions, and meetings.
- Adept in customer interaction and service, ability to meet or exceed performance standards, and ability to establish and close transactions.
- Ability to coach, motivate, and develop a cross-functional sales team that best represents AT&T and Prime Communications.
- Effective and persuasive communication skills, marketing and sales-pitching skills, ability to coach subordinates, and strong organizational skills with keen sense of details.
- Goal-oriented mindset with the professional work ethic to follow through with tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to empathize and handle conflict resolutions, disputes and discrepancies at the store, and keep accountability of store performance and organization.
- Adhere to Team Color policy, company policies, legal and ethical standards, and foster a work environment that appeals to customers and best represents the company.
- Familiarity with wireless technology, telecommunications industry, and AT&T products and services is preferred.
- Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax machine, etc.
- Motivation to learn and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly evolving business, while keeping up to date with industry trends and changes in the company that affect the sales department.
